The challenge

TB+A started a Digitalisation initiative to focus on better understanding their business requirements, pain points and opportunities for improvements to assess their options and create a roadmap for transformation.

The Digitalisation project aims to resolve issues surrounding data flow, quality of information and the data source. The high-level objectives are to enhance technical quality and consistency along with improved cash flow position, financial management, fee management, and productivity.

This project highlights key areas for improvement around People, Process and Technology.

The solution

An options appraisal for the key business applications was completed with estimated costs for its procurement and implementation.

The short-listed suppliers from the options appraisal were invited to participate in a formal procurement process so that TB+A could select a suitable technology option to support their business transformation.

The scope for the functional areas included:

  • Finance
  • Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Project Performance
  • Expenses
  • HR
  • Payroll

Once the technology is in place, the people and process elements of the business transformation framework will be addressed

The result

TB+A have selected their preferred suppliers for the in-scope functionality.

The implementation of the technology solution is now in progress.

This engagement will support TB+A in transforming their business by eliminating reliance on manual workflows and reducing dependence on a small number of individuals for critical back‑office tasks. At the same time, it will replace fragmented, offline data handling with integrated, real‑time reporting, unlocking insight, consistency and efficiency across the organisation.

TB+A will align their processes to the new technology functionality and business requirements, while training their people to effectively use the technology to deliver the newly designed processes efficiently.

TB+A are now in a strong position to achieve their resilient business model that removes significant business continuity risks and allows for organic growth by using scalable solutions.

“Digital transformation in essence equates to people transformation. Medhya and Brian have patiently guided our organisation with a sensitivity and measured understanding of our industry and people from conceptualisation, through reflection, ideation and iteration, allowing us to be informed and confident decision makers in this space.

Moore Insight’s ability to translate the complex has facilitated an epoch defining transformation of our organisation and our people, enabling us to exploit our innate qualities and capabilities in the digital era.”
